Seattle’s very own Trove was recently named one of GQ’s 25 Most Outstanding Restaurants of 2015! Located on Capitol Hill, Trove is part noodle, parfait, BBQ, and bar. After reading all about it, we can see why this eclectic hotspot is one of four PNW restaurants to make GQ’s list (the other three are in Portland).
In describing Trove, food writer Alan Richman so eloquently put it: “Trove is two restaurants and a bar under one roof, plus a semi-outdoor frozen-custard stand. (Even if it’s raining, which it always is, don’t skip the stand.) Trove’s noodle section is so noodle-centric, I found some in my Mexican posole. The grill-it-yourself section had mostly chewy meats, surely because I cooked them. Even I couldn’t make the Wagyu tri-tip tough.”
We’ll try not to hold the rain comment against him.
